Your responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines to gather, clean, and consolidate data from various sales channels
• Create predictive models using Python and machine learning techniques to forecast sales and optimize marketing strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business goals and provide actionable insights based on data analysis
• Utilize Postgres SQL for database management and data querying
• Implement caching solutions using Redis to improve data retrieval performance
• Utilize Selenium for web scraping when necessary to collect data from external sources
• Implement data governance and ensure data quality and uniformity
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in data science and e-commerce

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics)
• Experience as a Data Scientist with a strong focus on data integration and modelling
• Proficiency in Python, Postgres SQL, Redis, FastAPI, and Selenium or other scrapping packages
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for working with large datasets
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders
• Knowledge of e-commerce and marketing is a plus
• Ability to work independently and drive projects to completion
